We are first time homebuyers and had a plethora of questions and concerns; Cory explained every step of the process without being condescending. Cory possesses every single quality you want in your realtor. For starters, he is trust-worthy and candid. He isn't the kind of realtor that will push you towards a purchase to make a quick buck; he takes the time to deeply understand your needs/wants and show homes and features of the homes that matter to you. He is the first one to drag you out of a home that will not suit your needs. He just knows! Secondly, he moves at a blistering speed. In today's seller market, every minute matters. The moment you are bought in on a home, you better commit. Oh boy, Cory double commits! He knows when to accelerate. In those crunch situations, when time is of the essence, he answers your calls any time of the day (or night). He acts quickly to review comps and/or put together offers, but at the same time has a great attention to detail. Thirdly, he has the gift of the gab, and a rather unique knack with people. You need someone like him on your side to be able to have those difficult negotiations with seller agents. He gets his way surprisingly often, owning to his 21+ years of experience having difficult conversations and dealing with unforeseen issues that almost always prop up during a home sale. Last but not the least, he is a good human being. He is there with you every step of the way right from touring homes and providing inputs to you to answering questions about inspection reports, describing the minutest of the offer verbiage, right up to the day of close when you sign the dotted line, and even beyond. It has been months since we bought the house, and he continues to check-in and provide us support. Me, my wife (and my toddlers!!) cannot recommend Cory's services enough. Cory was fantastic at navigating us through the purchase of our first home, from viewing to close. He was extremely knowledgable of the local area and the towns surrounding it down to weather, schools, food, city ordinances, and busy vs quiet streets. He connected us with previous clients living in the area if we wanted to ask questions and was available himself 24/7. He was patient, super friendly, honest and respectful. I loved his excitement and optimism. He was great at pointing out potential issues in the homes we viewed and made welcomed suggestions for updates. Cory provided great resources for local contractors and connected us with mortgage/banking services. Working with Cory to buy our house was an absolutely fantastic experience. He was referred to us by a close family member who Cory helped buy an amazing property. Cory is extremely knowledgeable both about prevailing market conditions as well as the area in general. He grew up locally and has been in the real estate market here for many years, and his experience and local connections were a huge advantage for us. Cory almost always knew of the sellers' real estate agents, and he frequently had an existing professional relationship. This enabled us to access properties before they were officially listed (as well as off-market properties), and his frequent conversations with other agents helped him give us timely and accurate guidance. As first-time home buyers, Cory helped us get oriented in the market and home buying process. He also spent a huge amount of effort -- over the course of many long phone calls -- helping us narrow down our parameters, and it felt like he knew what we wanted as well as we did. Through this search, he remained unbelievably patient, highly supportive, and never pushy. When we needed to pause our home buying process for a little while, he was respectful of that while still keeping us in the loop. He also understood our financial constraints, and we ended up with a great property within our budget. It was very easy to get in touch with Cory. He was incredibly responsive, day and night, and on several occasions he stayed up quite late working with us. Calling him "hard working" is an understatement. During Covid, he was happy to show us properties via video chat, and he often scouted potential properties to see if they would be worth our time. Once our offer was accepted, Cory smoothed out the remainder of the process. As issues arose, Cory always proactively took care of business, even when it wasn't really his responsibility. Knowing that he was taking care of all the little things was a huge weight off of our shoulders. Lastly, Cory referred a number of tradespeople and vendors, several of whom we used (and were happy with).
